1803 - David Woodard to Daniel Woodard


This Indenture made this -- day of --- 1803 Between David Woodard of Nash County No Carolina of One part & Daniel Woodard of the County & State aforesaid of the Other part witnesseth that I the said David Woodard for an Inconsideration of the Sum of forty five pounds Virg.a Curr--cy to me in hand paid the Receipt whereof I do here by acknowledge I have bargained & sold unto the said Daniel Woodard a Certain tract of Land in the County aforsd on the No side pig basket Creek bounded as Followeth Begin at a Red oak on the no side of said Creek then East by Aaron Woodards line 36 pole to a black Jack then No 21 Wt 255 pole a pine in Morris ----- ---- line then Wt by said line 38 pole to a black Jack then So by said Morris's line 142 (?) pol to the Creek then Down meanders of said Creek to the first station Containing 100 acres more or less to have and to hold the said land & premises with all woods mines menerals or any thing thereunto belonging or appertaining & I the said David Woodard for me my heirs Exrs & the said land and premises ill (?) warrant & forever Defend unto the sd Daniel Woodard him & his heirs and assigns forever against the claim of all persons whatsoever in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the day and year first above written}
